Church Street bridge was originally scheduled to begin the summer of 2023. Now it is noted on the website https://churchstbridgerehab.com that it will be this year, 2025.
WHAT TO KNOW DURING CONSTRUCTION, the bridge will remain open to vehicular traffic, but will be limited to one lane in each direction. Lane closures may cause delays during peak travel times and commuters and area business owners should plan accordingly. Pedestrian facilities on or under the bridge will be closed at times during construction.
