Augusta Road Business Association congratulates The Rock House Antiques as the winner of the Fifth Annual Lights on Augusta, a Christmas decoration contest on historic Augusta Road. Members of ARBA decorated their business or store front for the month of December and the winner was decided by the community, clients, customers, neighbors and residents. “The Rock House Antiques is excited to be a new member of the Augusta Road Business Association. Thank you to all the voters that helped us win Lights on Augusta. We are looking forward to a great 2016 as we continue to grow and improve” said Carol Kilby, owner of The Rock House Antiques. Special recognition goes to the second place winner, Sassy on Augusta, and third place winner, Paws & Claws.
Over 1,300 people voted online, at www.onlyonaugusta.com, for the best decked business on Augusta Road. The community showed enormous support and ARBA is pleased with the success of this year’s contest. “Our goal is to bring the community and businesses on Augusta Road together. We feel Lights on Augusta is a good way to generate camaraderie on ‘The Road.’ Voter turnout has risen each year and we are thrilled to have received one thousand three hundred and sixty one votes this year,” said Renita Owens, ARBA President and owner of Renita M. Owens, CPA.
The 2015 Lights on Augusta was sponsored by TALK Greenville Magazine.
