Augusta Road Business Association (ARBA) congratulates Sassy Kids on Augusta as the winner of the Fourth Annual Lights on Augusta, a Christmas decoration contest on historic Augusta Road and sponsored by TALK Greenville Magazine. Members of ARBA decorated their business or store front for the month of December and the winner was decided by the community, clients, customers, neighbors and residents. “We had a great time participating in Lights on Augusta this year. I would like to thank J. Osborne Designs for their creativity in helping me with the Sesame Street Christmas tree and store window design and to all the people who voted for us” said Jeannie McGehee, owner of Sassy Kids on Augusta. Special recognition goes to the second place winner, Phil Hyman Photography, and third place winner, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS.
Over 800 people voted online, at www.onlyonaugusta.com, for the best decked business on Augusta Road. The community showed enormous support and ARBA is pleased with the success of this year’s contest. “Our goal is to bring the community and businesses on Augusta Road together. We feel Lights on Augusta is a good way to generate camaraderie on ‘The Road.’ Voter turnout has risen each year and we are thrilled to have received eight hundred and thirty-three votes in 2014,” said Renita Owens, ARBA President and owner of Renita M. Owens, CPA.
