Augusta Road Business Association had a successful Annual Meeting on August 27th. Shannon Lavrin, City Manager, was in attendance as well as Cameron Campbell. Cameron is Assistant to the President and CEO of Greenville City Economic Development Corporation. Member businesses were excited to hear that Cameron will now be the City Staff Liaison for Augusta Road Business Association.
Shannon and Cameron gave detailed updates on current and future developments that are taking place in the Augusta Street area. Developments such as Gastroenterology Associates under construction next to the Furniture Market, what the future is of the old Potomac Square now called Augusta Gateway, and that a non-profit has purchased the old Animal Hospital land behind the Ramsey Branch library.
The Annual Meeting always has a special guest speaker. This year we were honored to have AI Professional and owner of Supermoon AI, Daniel Dye. The members learned an introduction to AI for Business. Thank you Daniel, we hope to have you back again!
